Dr. Angelgiorgio Iorizzo from the European Commission (EC) is a Chartered Engineer with an MS in Mechanical Engineering and a PhD in Energy Engineering from the University of Rome La Sapienza. He works at the EC Directorate-General for Research and Innovation. Dr. Iorizzo joined the EC in 2007 at JRC Karlsruhe and previously worked at the Local Health Agency in Rome, ENEA, and Tecnomare SpA (Eni Group). In 2012 he moved to RTD in Bruxelles following the fusion and then fission files.
