Floris Deurvorst joined Marvel Fusion in 2022 as Chief of Staff to the CEO, driven by a mission to turn commercial fusion power into reality. During his tenure, he played a key role in securing over EUR 200 million in private and public funding. Now serving as Manager of R&D, Floris oversees the strategy and execution of Marvel Fusion’s technology roadmap, leveraging his business acumen alongside his technical expertise in the company’s fusion approach. He holds an MSc in Applied Physics from Delft University of Technology, where he graduated with distinction, and, before joining Marvel Fusion, gained professional experience in investment banking and consulting firms.
