Dr. Jens-Uwe Schmollack from TÜV Rheinland Industrie Service has built his career in radiation protection and nuclear safety since the Chernobyl accident. Currently, he leads the Nuclear Technology and Radiation Protection Competence Area at TÜV Rheinland and serves as the Asia Pacific Coordinator for nuclear safety. He focuses on licensing nuclear facilities across their lifecycle and plays a key role in the Polish nuclear new build project for PGE. Additionally, he is involved in post-Fukushima nuclear safety initiatives in Japan and other international projects.
