Dr. Alice Seibert from the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC) holds a doctorate in Nuclear Chemistry from the Johannes Gutenberg-University in Mainz. Before joining the JRC she worked in research institutions and in the public sector. With joining the JRC in 2013, she was involved in research and policy support focusing on nuclear safety, nuclear waste management and decommissioning. Currently, Dr. Seibert is the project manager for JRC’s efforts on fostering nuclear skills and competencies for Europe involving teams across JRC and various EC internal and external stakeholders.
