Dr. Bálint Batki joined the Institute for Energy Technology in Norway in 2024 as a Postdoctoral Researcher and is part of the Norwegian Nuclear Research Center. He focuses on integrating reactor physics and thermal hydraulics with AI and machine learning, including developing DecomGPT, a Retrieval Augmented Generation tool for nuclear applications. His experience includes machine learning engineering at two startups, research at the Centre for Energy Research in Hungary, and a PhD in Nuclear Physics from Budapest University of Technology.
